Who is responsible

Consultana is a trading name of Rachellie Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 06333283. Rachellie Limited is the data controller for anything you send through this site. Contact details are on the contact page.

What this website collects on its own

Nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no embedded third-party content. Fonts are the ones already on your device, so no font service sees your visit.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and like any web host Cloudflare processes technical request data (IP address, user agent, the page requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. That is Cloudflare’s processing rather than mine, and I do not receive analytics from it.

If you send an enquiry

What I collect. Whatever you put in the form or the email: your name, email address, organisation and role if you give them, which review you are considering, what stage the design is at, your timescales, and whichever concerns you tick from the list.

Why. To reply to you, to scope and quote the work, and if you become a client, to deliver it. The lawful basis is legitimate interests before a contract exists, and performance of a contract once one does.

How long. Enquiries that don’t become work are deleted after 12 months. For engagements that go ahead, the retention rules in the engagement terms apply: your design files are deleted 90 days after close-out, or on a later date agreed at close-out and no more than 12 months after it, and the report, findings register, and engagement record are kept for 7 years because they support the professional opinion I gave you.

Who else sees it. I use no CRM, I share enquiry details with nobody, and I send no marketing. Three services do handle an enquiry on its way to me, and they are named rather than described vaguely: Cloudflare serves the site and runs the small piece of code the form posts to, Resend delivers that submission to me as an email, and SimpleLogin forwards mail addressed to consultana.tech into a Proton Mail mailbox. Each handles the message the ordinary way email is handled, which is exactly why your design never travels this route.

The pre-engagement form. If we go ahead I send you a private link to a short form for administrative details: contacts, dates, purchase order reference, and the transfer method we agreed. It goes through the same services above, and it deliberately has nowhere to put anything describing your design.

Design material

Don’t attach design files to a first email. Once we’ve agreed how to transfer things, anything you send is stored encrypted and kept separately from every other client’s material, and it is deleted on the schedule above with written confirmation.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or object to my holding it. Email me and I’ll act on it, normally within a few days and in any case within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this notice changes materially I will date the change here.
